I started this beautiful business four years ago and I have honestly loved it! For me, the journey has been about a whole lot of things. Too many to list. But one thing's for sure -- and this is genuine -- it's never really been about the products. The shirts, the mugs, the prints, those aren't the things that get me the most fired up. It's you. It's always been about impact. About changing my own little world. About going higher together.
The last few months I've been talking to God about the different aspects of my business and life. All the things that He's given me passion for. The lettering, the products, the writing, being a mom and wife, homeschooling, doing life with Him and sharing that journey, being an entrepreneur, wanting to lead a more natural life, etc.
I've been asking Him: "how can I bring these things together into one cohesive business/ministry? I don't want to feel fragmented and I don't really feel like You're leading me to just hone in on one thing."
A couple months ago, I started to feel -- for the first time -- that it was actually possible for these seemingly unrelated things to come together. That there really was a way for me to share all of me, not just one or two pieces. God began to show me a glimpse of what it could look like. Not the entire strategy, but a glimpse. A piece. And what the next step was.
I have decided to close down the shop for the next three months and I am SO excited for where we are headed. I'm taking these upcoming weeks to be laser-focused on seeking God's blueprint for my business, asking and believing for the wisdom of heaven, and to become more educated in some practical areas that I really believe will help my business thrive.
So. Except for a couple exceptions, 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝘁𝗵, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀. I will plan to open up the online shop Black Friday weekend and a couple days before Christmas and we may even be at Sweet to the Soul Market in Peoria, AZ on November 16th, but I don't expect you to remember all that. My friends, this is definitely not the time to go anywhere. This is the best time to stick around! We are entering a season you will want to be around for, be a part of, have a front row seat to. I guarantee it. This is not just about a rebrand, a name change. I am not just getting bored and in need of something different. Not at all. What I really believe is that it's time for the next level. And this is the first step in that direction.
To close it out, I want to share one of my favorite Proverbs with you: 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩. I feel like some of you may be dying a little inside. You’ve forgotten what it’s like to dream; what's it's like to have vision. For yourself, your home, your kids, your marriage, your finances, and your impact on this world. As God is reigniting dreams and sparking new vision in me, I want to be a small part of reigniting some of those things in you if you need it. I am so expectant, and I'm telling you...𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚!
