Plan yo' summer! [FREE printable calendar]

Summer is here! We're just finishing up our first official summer-week and it was already a fun, full one! Typically, I use the calendar on my phone throughout the year to keep track of all my appointments, activities and everything in between, but there's something about planning things specifically for the family where I like to use a paper calendar instead. I did that this past year on some of the months where we had a lot of homeschooling activities and field trips. There's just something about having it all laid out in front of me that helps me prioritize, not overdo and also follow through with all the things I really want to do with my kiddos.
Well, I figured I can't be the only one! If I like doing that, I thought maybe you might too. So for this month's Freebie, I created a free hand-lettered June and July calendar - just download and print at home! And I know I might be biased, but I think they're soooo cute! I mean, where else can you get your month and days of the week written in watercolor calligraphy?! (All the heart eyes.)
Just a couple thoughts:
- For the brightest color, choose the highest print quality under your printing preferences. This isn't a must, just a tip.
- Regular copy paper will work great but if you want the calendars to hold up through the hustle of your mad-life, try printing them on card stock.
- Use pencil when you plan! Girl, you know life changes. Map it out but be flexible. You don't have to do it all and you aren't less of a mom if you don't.
- Throw some alone-time and a coffee date with a friend in there once in a while. We need to be still more often and we also need each other. (Me: "Did you hear that, self?!")
