November Freebie: Rejoice | Pray | Give Thanks

Happy November!!

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks..." These are the beautiful words from I Thessalonians 5:16-18 that I recently got to design for a chalk wall in a local church's youth room. I loved how the artwork came together and thought that with a little tweaking they would make the perfect lock screen for us this month.

This little chunk of Scripture is an instructional one. In fact, it's kinda like a little cheat sheet for abundant life! We've been let in on the secret, ladies!

I love how The Passion Translation says it: "Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus."

I want my re-JOY-cing - His joy in me - to be my actual strength; my meal, my nourishment.

I want to be a walking prayer meeting, expecting God to break though everything that hinders me and His other kids.

I want to focus on being grateful for the abundance all around me, not what I lack.
