An invitation for the #worshippingwarriors

Hey, how are you? How you holdin’ up?

I know things feel like they’ve been turned on their head.

Schedules are out of wack, emotions might be high, you may not actually know if you can go 30 more days cooped up inside your house. Your kids are driving you crazy, and let’s be honest, so is your husband. You’re starting to feel the weight of it all and you can tell the discouragement is creeping in.

Girl, I want to challenge you: keep your worship on.

Spend time in the secret place.
Make your quiet time a priority.
Talk with Jesus like He’s right there, ‘cause He is.
Keep worship music playing in your house.
Dance and sing even if you don’t feel like it (at first).

Something so supernatural happens when we worship.
When we pause to praise.
Not because we feel like it,
but because He deserves it.
’Cause we were made for it.
In that space, something breaks, things shift.

Worship changes the atmosphere.

And if the devil can’t stop your worship, he can’t steal your breakthrough.

The last couple days, with no master plan, I started Watch Parties on my Facebook page. Sharing a couple of my favorite worship moments with you simply ‘cause I felt led to.

And I’m not stopping.

Every weekday, same time, same place, I’ll be there.

A new song, a fresh moment. Same faithful, worthy, beautiful God.

Maybe that ten minutes in the middle of your day will be your chance to
Breathe and reset or
Get your attention back on Him or
Just pour out your gratitude or
Be reminded of His goodness or
Let Him fill up your cup or
Sit in silence or
Weep in humility or
Cry out in pain or
Dance wildly in joy or
Worship ‘cause He’s worthy or
Believe for your healing or
Receive your breakthrough.

It may look different in each home but we’ll be TOGETHER. And I know we need that right now.

My hope is that these 10 minutes or so that we’re together each day wouldn’t be an end-all, but a fire starter.

I pray it would ignite something inside every single of one of us that we didn’t even know we needed. A fire that burns up the dross and makes room for more hope, more faith, more love, more joy, more peace. The stuff you shouldn’t have if you were to look at your situation but you totally do because of Him. And it’s not fake, and it’s not conjured up, it’s authentic and deeply-rooted.

Every weekday, March 28th thru April 30th, at 1 pm Pacific / 3 pm Central / 5 pm Eastern on the Facebook page, I’ll go Live or start a Watch Party and we will worship together!
